Hidden Gem is a cross between a Boutique hotel and a Bed & Breakfast. We have a distinctive vibe, intimate in scale, providing the ambiance of being a personal guest in a private home, rather than just being in a hotel room.
We all crave to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life, to disconnect, detox and de-stress, to be somewhere distanced from the continual demands of today’s world, without interruption. Here at Hidden Gem, this is a rare luxury which is included in the price. :)
We want you to have the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of the other guests, whether at breakfast, by our pool, or on our patio. Feel free to laze around in bed all day, curl up with a book on our balcony or just lounge around the house or pool area. Hidden Gem is indeed hidden, tucked away in a quiet enclave, off the beaten path in a residential area in Inch Marlow, Christ Church. Come enjoy all we have to offer, solitude, ambiance and a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. We promise you you won’t be disappointed.
LOCATION
Hidden Gem is not for everyone. It is an Adults ONLY Bed & Breakfast and we do understand that off-the-beaten-path could be a little inconvenient for those who like the convenience of being in walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants etc.
If so, Hidden Gem is not for you. We aren’t close to much but the bus stops around the corner, we do offer food and beverages on-site and while we don’t offer a huge menu we will serve up some good home-style cooked food and delicious cocktails and rum punch. You will probably be eating in the company of the locals rather than other tourists although of course other tourists are allowed and welcomed. Also, there is another great restaurant, Marco Polo just around the corner, in walking distance. What you can be sure of in an off-the-beaten-track villa is privacy in a quiet location – the sort of quiet which might include waves crashing, birds singing, frogs croaking, hens clucking, and yes, the occasional cockerel and dogs barking. You will not hear loud music or traffic or low-flying planes
